How was your Opening Weekend?

Did you have much luck for your Opening Weekend? Yes its that time of the year again!  The great influx of our feathered friends hiding in public gardens across NZ...Hope you keen duckshooters had a great one.  Try the 99 checklist for your next shoot: Gun, licence, kit, shot, bacon and egg pies for the maimai, copious amounts of liquor (medicinal purposes), pinot noir for the duck dinner. And our special tip - make sure that last year's ducks have been emptied from the freezer!

To cover the full spectrum of life, the other big date in May is of course Mother's Day. While you don't want to get too carried away, this is one day you don't want to overlook either ...so we're just putting it onto your radar now! Though times are tough; its the thought that counts.

This month we profile our client Soapalicious. New Plymouth based, their gorgeous and original products are available on line and at selected stockists throughout the country. Great ideas for fabulous Mother's Day treats to suit all budgets. www.soapalicious.co.nz.  We just love them!

Case Study:
A database of 500 retailers was purchased and cold called.
  2 stages of the camapign were: A. 99 cold calling to id those wanting samples, and B. Follow up calls to confirm orders.  Results - 35 hours of cold calling and follow ups resulted in 143  samples being sent. 40 converted to sales in the first instance giving us 1 happy client.

99 provided the qualified leads. The client's products and service spoke for themselves once exposed to the expanded market. The client took its sales opportunities to the next level and focused on developing new client relationships to secure monthly repeat business.
